Your opportunity

We will make a commitment to providing you with the highest quality CPD, both within the Academy and through the Harris Federation, to ensure that you are always at the forefront of teaching and learning innovation. We can offer you the opportunity to advance your career within a supportive academy environment. You will be part of a Federation established in developing practitioners and nurturing excellent future leaders, with unrivalled opportunities for progression; whatever your aspirations as a teacher, middle or senior leader, our Teaching School Alliance provides a range of bespoke courses and qualifications, including our Aspiring Leaders NPQML and NPQSL programmes to help you achieve your ambitions more quickly.

What we are looking for

We look for talented individuals who want to be a part of transforming education in London, and helping create exceptional places of learning.

The ideal candidate will have excellent subject knowledge and will be creative and passionate about sharing that knowledge with our students. Holding QTS (or equivalent) and an undergraduate degree, you will be committed to attaining the highest standards and expecting excellence from our children. As the academy grows you will be part of a team that will teach and lead through a variety of innovative approaches including curriculum design, teaching strategies, use of technology and intervention programmes that will create an environment where every classroom offers outstanding provision for students.

In selecting a teacher to join our team we will be looking for an aspirational person, able to be a key player in developing an exceptional academy: someone with the ability to help build the commitment of all stakeholders to a culture of constant excellence.

Commitment to safeguarding

The Harris Federation and all our academies are committed to ensuring the highest levels of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and we expect all our staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
