The Principal and Governors of our Academy are seeking to appoint an outstanding and inspirational Early Years Teacher to cover maternity leave. This position will commence in November 2022.
We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in EYFS. The ideal candidate will be someone who sets high expectations for children, makes learning enjoyable and inspires a sense of discovery. They will ensure that everyone they teach feels valued and each child is supported to develop their potential.
Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to ensure that each unique child has opportunities to interact in positive relationships, whilst embracing the development of all aspects of their learning. The ability to work as part of a team is essential.
The candidate must demonstrate an excellent understanding of the EYFS Framework and how it can be delivered. They will need to deliver a creative and exciting EYFS provision within their own classroom and across the setting, developing the children’s love of learning. A strong commitment to parental and community involvement is also required as is a good sense of humour and a hardworking ethos.

The Academy and Day Nursery is situated on the outskirts of Crewe Town Centre. It is a three-form entry Academy, with a planned admission number of 90 (for Years 1 and Reception only). The capacity of the Academy is 480 catering for a maximum of 30 in each class. Currently the number of children on roll is 421. We are very proud of our outstanding status, as judged by Ofsted in February 2011.
The Day Nursery capacity for Pre-School children is 30, for 2 Year olds is 20 and for under 2’s is 9.

Monks Coppenhall Academy and Day Nursery operate their own Breakfast Clubs and After-School Clubs. The Academy offers a wide range of lunchtime and after school activity clubs. We believe parents and carers play a huge role in their child’s learning and feel it is important to work in partnership to gain the best outcomes for each child.
