About the role
Here at Staynor Hall Community Primary Academy we focus on inspiring pupils to be the best that they can be. Our staff make an extremely dedicated team who work very hard to provide the best possible learning opportunities for all pupils in our safe and happy environment.
The role involves working with the Class Teacher to support early years children with their emotional and learning needs, this may be in small groups or one – to – one. In addition, you will implement the school’s behaviour management policy both in class and across the school where appropriate.
You will be a calm, caring and patient person who is dedicated to helping young children learn, grow and flourish.

The job requirements
You will be an experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant who has fantastic communication skills which will allow you to work closely and effectively with the children, parents and carers and the Early Years team.
You be able to multi-task, help plan and deliver stimulating and interesting activities and be confident in playing with children and reading stories aloud.
You will be passionate about teaching and learning and will believe in developing the true potential of all our children.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a growing Academy Trust which offers excellent, long term career development and to help provide an inclusive environment in which all children are encouraged to become responsible for themselves, their learning and their behaviour.

Working with us
All new starters with the Trust receive a thorough induction programme, followed by a programme of training which is essential to the role. But it doesn’t stop there, all staff receive development on an ongoing basis and we actively encourage career development through a range of CPD and longer programmes of learning.
The Trust is striving to be an inclusive and diverse organisation, where everyone feels able to be themselves and experiences a strong sense of belonging. The Trust wholeheartedly supports the principle of equality and diversity in employment and opposes all forms of unfair or unlawful discrimination on the grounds of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, or sex. We encourage and support the recruitment, retention and career development of people from as wide a range as possible of ethnic, cultural and social backgrounds and seek to develop a community of staff that accurately represents society as a whole.
