About the role
Here at Staynor Hall Community Primary Academy we focus on inspiring pupils to be the best that they can be. Through our school core values of excellence, belonging, opportunity and respect we encourage our pupils to develop self – belief and achieve all that they can through our rich and varied curriculum. Our staff make an extremely dedicated team who work very hard to provide the best possible learning opportunities for all pupils in our safe and happy environment.
The role involves working with the Class Teacher to support early years children with their emotional and learning needs, this may be in small groups or one – to – one. In addition, you will implement the school’s behaviour management policy both in class and across the school where appropriate.
You will be a calm, caring and patient person who is dedicated to helping young children learn, grow and flourish.
The job requirements
You will be an experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant who has fantastic communication skills which will allow you to work closely and effectively with the children, parents and carers and the Early Years team.
You be able to multi-task, help plan and deliver stimulating and interesting activities and be confident in playing with children and reading stories aloud.
You will be passionate about teaching and learning and will believe in developing the true potential of all our children.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a growing Academy Trust which offers excellent, long term career development and to help provide an inclusive environment in which all children are encouraged to become responsible for themselves, their learning and their behaviour.
