We are looking for an inspirational and dedicated teaching assistant to work within our EYFS team. The ideal candidate would be someone who is driven to ensure the first year at school for children is engaging, interesting and creative. This role would allow the right candidate to build on their existing knowledge and skills whilst being able to flourish in a progressive and caring school.
The successful candidate will be a passionate teaching assistant who:
- Can confidently and effectively support the teaching of phonics, and lead small groups.
- Has a good working knowledge of the EYFS curriculum, and can accurately record observations on Tapestry.
- Is efficient and well organised and has skills and talents to improve the learning of children.
- Has a caring and positive attitude.
- Has excellent communication skills and is approachable for all children, staff and parents.
- Has the ability to promote the school’s values.
- Can support the teachers in providing outstanding outdoor provision.
Experience of work within an EYFS setting is desirable although not essential. A willingness to try a variety of strategies as well as the ability to work as part of our friendly team is essential.
