About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a flexible, enthusiastic, and creative Teaching Assistant to work in our lovely, child focused village school. You will be expected to undertake the professional duties and responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant and aid class teachers in delivering the appropriate curriculum to the whole class as well as on a 1:1 basis. There may also be requirements to help out with the serving of lunches and you will be expected to cover break and lunch duties as required.

  • You will have the ability to communicate clearly with Teachers and younger individuals
  • Ability to create an encouraging learning environment for pupils
  • Active listening skills
  • Understanding and sensitivity towards children
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Ability to be flexible
