We have an exciting opportunity to appoint a dedicated, creative and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our experienced staff team in the early years. Our setting offers places for children aged 2 years to 5 years and is dedicated to forming strong, effective relationships with the families in our catchment area.
Applicants must demonstrate a good knowledge of the requirements of the EYFS and of child development. They must have good planning and observations skills and have the ability to develop effective relationships with colleagues, children and parents. Applicants must feel passionately about the rights of every child to achieve and thrive in education.
Ideally you will hold a Level 2 childcare qualification and have experience of working with children with additional needs.

- Experience of working with children who have additional learning needs;

- A knowledge of schema and how they impact children’s learning;
- An understanding of ‘outdoor learning’;
- A great sense of humour.
