Facilities Assistant
Pickwick Academy Trust would like to appoint a permanent, part-time Facilities Assistant – that will be predominantly based at Greentrees Primary School (the role will cover all Pickwick Academy Trust’s following Schools Greentrees Primary School, Longford Primary School and Alderbury and West Grimstead CofE Primary School .
Required to start: as soon as possible
Hours: 32 hours per week, to be worked 7.00am to 1.00pm, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. 7.00am to 11am plus 12.00noon to 4.00pm on Wednesdays.
As the working hours will be split between 3 schools, own transport to travel between the schools is required initially pending the provision of a vehicle. Mileage allowance will be paid.
Salary Point: C2, £22,366 pro rata per annum (actual salary will be £20,467 per annum)
Pickwick Academy Trust currently consists of fifteen community and church primary schools across Wiltshire and Dorset, organised into three geographically proximate hubs. The schools in the Trust are committed to working together to provide the best schools and outcomes for their children.
We have an exciting opportunity to appoint a part-time Facilities Assistant to provide a high-quality service to three of our schools.
Duties will include:
General site maintenance
Participation in Health and Safety inspections and checks to ensure compliance
General caretaking duties
Maintaining the security of the school buildings and forming part of the Emergency response team for the school if required.
Good practical skills are essential, and previous experience of building maintenance is desirable.
Tools and uniform will be provided.
