Facilities Co-ordinator job summary
The successful candidate will work with the Director of Facilities and facilities Technician to support and achieve compliance across the schools by supporting with preventative maintenance, sourcing quotes, and response for minor repairs. A knowledge of on-line recording systems would be an advantage, along with experience of utilities management and H&S.
The post will be for 20 hours per week, 4 hours per day, Monday-Friday, 39 weeks per year; it is envisaged to be a predominantly home working role, with frequent use of MS teams calls, and occasional need to attend school meetings.
The post holder will be required to co-ordinate activities between the facilities Technician, Director of Facilities, school staff, school business managers, and headteachers, in order to record checks, tests, and works to achieve legal compliance, as well as responding to requests from schools for minor repairs and breakdowns.
The management of utility contracts and collation of meter readings and the recording of usage information is necessary to identify correct billing and identify unusual usage, liaising with suppliers and school staff to ensure resolution and recording of outcomes, as well as providing management with relevant data.
EPA trust is a successful multi academy trust, and as such this post holder could be required to attend any of the schools, therefore a driving licence and access to a car will be necessary.
