This is an exciting opportunity to become a part of our highly professional, friendly team at both schools. We are looking to appoint a full-time Facilities Manager to work across two schools who has a “can do” attitude and is flexible, practical, pro-active, energetic, and diligent to support our existing teams in delivering excellent service.
You will undertake a range of duties regarding the grounds, buildings, environment, and their users, ensuring the safety and security through the day-to-day organisation and supervision of the premises, ensuring essential works and maintenance jobs are completed on a priority basis. Also, ensuring statutory compliance as well as supervising the site team and cleaners in providing excellent service. The successful applicant will have strong facilities management skills as well as people leadership. You will report to the Regional Operations Manager and Headteachers.
The post is for 36 hours per week, all year round. The position will be mainly based at Gladstone Park Primary and there will be regular travel to Abacus Belsize Primary. Applicants will be interviewed on receipt of successful application.
We want to hear from you if you:
- Have facilities management experience.
- Demonstrate strong IT skills in Microsoft office products.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail, with good oral and written communication skills.
- Are able to work under pressure and manage conflicting work priorities.
- Have experience of working in a school or similar setting.
- Are highly skilled and practical.
