- Grade 7, level 1-4 (£29,230 to £31,391 p.a.) plus allowances
Additional allowances
Allowances add over £2,000 p.a. to the gross, basic pay. Also, enrolment into the Local Government Pension Scheme.
N.B. these salary figures do not include the Local Government pay offer, from 1 April 2024, that is currently under negotiation
What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to recruit a dedicated and meticulous Facilities Manager who will ensure that the buildings and grounds are in proper working order, maintaining a safe environment for all users of the School.
You will be a proactive team player leading our friendly premises team, who must be reliable, hardworking and want to be part of a support staff that make a real difference to the lives of our student community and work colleagues, every single day at the School.
Main duties include:
- To be responsible to the School Business Manager (SBM) for a range of duties relating to the security,
management, development and monitoring of the school site including the management and supervision of contractors on site.
- To lead The Joseph Rowntree School site and cleaning teams to ensure that the school premises are
maintained and developed to the highest possible standard, ensuring that the above responsibilities are
carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Overseeing the lettings of the school facilities ensuring they are managed effectively and do not impact on the presentation, assets or security of the school.
- To ensure that a safe working environment is maintained for all users of the facilities
