What skills and experience we're looking for

Thistley Hough Academy is a mixed school catering for students aged 11-16 located in the village of Penkhull, Stoke-on-Trent. The Academy joined the Creative Education Trust in September 2013 and is now one of Stoke-on-Trent’s most improved schools and is graded as Ofsted ‘good’.

We are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to deliver a practical, reliable, and efficient caretaking and maintenance service across the whole site and grounds.

The successful candidate will be someone with a commitment to Thistley Hough Academy and the Creative Education Trust’s ethos and values and will be able to plan and prioritise own work without direct supervision.

It is essential that the candidate demonstrates that they have the students’ well-being at the forefront of all that they do.
