Overview of the job
We are looking for someone to join us as a Facilities Supervisor at Daubeney Academy, to directly support and assist the Facilities Manager in all areas of the maintenance, care and upkeep of the school’s buildings, grounds and facilities. The role will require supporting Springfield Primary School, whose school site is next to Daubeney. The successful candidate will have the ability to carry out electrical, plumbing, carpentry and other general repairs around the school site.
The role will include ensuring that the school site is maintained to a high standard at all times and the school is kept in a proper state of repair, including maintenance (electrical, plumbing, carpentry and other general repairs around the school site), decorating and refurbishment.
If you feel you have the right mix of good communicational skills, a general understanding of Health & Safety practices, competent in DIY, and can work as part of a team, then we would welcome an application from you. You need to have a flexible approach to working hours, high standards and a positive attitude.
