What skills and experience we're looking for
Our Opportunity
We are looking to appoint a highly-motivated and committed Facilities Supervisor who can support and enhance our learning environment and oversee the day-to-day management of the school facilities, ensuring a high level of hygiene and safety is maintained. You will be able to work cooperatively with all members of the school community but also have the skills and knowledge independently to maintain the existing high standards of cleanliness and maintenance throughout the Facilities. You will be responsible for the administration of matters relating to the Facilities and buildings. While previous experience of working in schools is welcomed, experience as a Facilities Supervisor is not essential, as training will be given. However, it is highly desirable that you possess skills in DIY and property maintenance.

Our Lady of Sorrows is situated in Armthorpe, three miles East of Doncaster City Centre. Armthorpe is a growing village which is very proud of its rich mining heritage. The school has grown considerably in recent years, with 214 children now on roll. The majority of the children live in Armthorpe, with only a few families travelling from neighbouring villages. We are distinctively Christian in our ethos and outlook and are inclusive of all. At the heart of our school are our Christian values, rooted in the Catholic tradition.
