Faculty Leader: Humanities job summary

We are looking to appoint an ambitious, dynamic, inspirational and visionary teacher to provide professional leadership and management of the Humanities Faculty for September 2019. The successful candidate will lead the staff and curriculum in order to secure high quality teaching and improve standards of learning and achievement of all students in History, Geography, Politics, Religious Studies and Law.

The successful candidate will have:
• The ability to teach KS3, KS4 and KS5 in their subject specialism securing outstanding student progress
• The ability to inspire, enthuse and motivate both staff and students
• The ability to lead the continuous improvement of Teaching & Learning across the faculty
• Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to role model outstanding classroom behaviour management
• A degree in their subject and secondary QTS
• A commitment to continuous professional development
