We’re looking for a talented individual to help foster a caring and supportive learning environment for our young people. Your experience of pastoral care will place our learners’ welfare at the heart of the school.
The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and technical skills. You will have the ability to problem solve and provide excellent customer service to our community.
You will have:
- A degree qualification or equivalent.
- A strong record of community engagement and enhancing pupils’ social, moral, spiritual and cultural development.
- Documented history of implementing successful faith and community initiatives and organising enrichment activities/workshops.
- The skills and knowledge in what is required to generate an effective faith offer.
- The ability to prioritise, work efficiently and accurately, particularly under pressure, to deadlines and using own initiative.
What the school offers its staff
Eden Boys’ School, Birmingham is a Muslim faith-based secondary school for 11 to 18 year old boys, which welcomes pupils from all faiths and none. We opened in Perry Barr in 2015 and, like all Star schools, we have a leadership specialism. We are extremely proud to be one of the highest performing schools in the country, with the 2nd best Progress 8 score nationally for our 2019 GCSE results. We were graded as ‘Outstanding’ in all areas by Ofsted during our first inspection in May 2018.
