Family Engagement Officer job summary
Abbeyfield Primary Academy are seeking to appoint an experienced Family Engagement Officer who can confidently work passionately with our children and families to improve attendance and develop more positive attitudes to engagement with education.
You will:
• Have 2-3 years’ experience of working with families, in a supportive capacity
• Be educated to at least NVQ level 3 / 4 or equivalent
• Have a clean, full drivers licence
• Have a commitment to on-going personal and professional development.
• Have an interest in and a strong commitment to supporting children’s, development and well-being
• Be caring and compassionate, treating children, families and colleagues with respect as individuals. Uphold the ethical principles and code of conduct.
• Value diversity, equity and inclusion and have high expectations for every family
• Be an effective team player and contribute to the whole school community
• Be an excellent organiser and communicator with a proactive and friendly attitude
