We have an excellent opportunity for an Experienced Family Liaison Officer to join us at Braybrook Primary Academy.

As the Family Liaison Officer, you will follow-up on absence with students, families and staff as appropriate, in order to improve attendance, communicating effectively and building relationships with hard to reach families. You will ensure all attendance is accurately recorded to meet the government and school's targets.

As the Family Liaison Officer, you will work alongside key school staff liaising with families with children on the SEN register to ensure pupil needs are met or being a welcoming face to children and families new to our school.

Key duties are to:

  • Maintain the School’s attendance monitoring system
  • Undertake the role of Designated Safeguarding Lead
  • To undertake administrative support for the Special Educational Needs Co-coordinator (SENCo)
  • To act as primary contact for existing and prospective families joining the school
  • Working the Office team to deliver all home-school communications
  • Provide an efficient, effective and professional admin support across the whole school
  • A love of children and determination to provide the best care
  • A solid knowledge and practice of pastoral support
  • A commitment to inclusion and working with parents and the community
  • Clear thinking and good at organising systems
