Family Support Advisor job summary

Family Support Advisor

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Trust at Ashburton and/or Buckfastleigh Primary Schools.

The Family Support Advisor (FSA) works with parents/carers to ensure all pupils are supported in ways that allow them to achieve their full potential, paying special attention to those who are identified as vulnerable. The FSA fosters positive relationships with partner agencies and the wider community to promote the school as a place where safeguarding is taken seriously and done well. The FSA is a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (D/DSL) and works closely with the Head Teacher who is the Designated Safeguarding Lead.

We would be happy to consider either:

One Family Support Advisor working across both schools, or

One FSA per school, working 18.5 hours per school.

Please state your preference clearly in your supporting statement.
