Salary: £33,699 (pro rata salary £29,242 for hours worked each week and the number of weeks worked each year)
Monday – Thursday 7:45am to 3:45pm
Friday 7:45am – 3:15pm
(Flexibility required with daily hours of work)

About the Role
As our Family Support Lead, you’ll play a key role in:
· Acting as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL)
· Leading early help assessments and multi-agency interventions
· Supporting pupils’ emotional wellbeing through nurture groups and restorative practices
· Building strong relationships with families through outreach, home visits, and parenting support
· Promoting positive attendance and punctuality
· Coordinating extended services and signposting families to external support
You’ll work closely with school staff, leadership, and external agencies to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all.
We are looking for someone who is: -
Calm, empathetic, and well-organised
Experienced in trauma-informed and restorative practices
Skilled in multi-agency working and safeguarding procedures
Confident in engaging families and supporting children’s wellbeing
Digitally literate and familiar with CPOMS and Microsoft Office
Desirable qualifications and experience include:
· Level 3+ in Childcare, Social Work, or related field
· Mental Health First Aid
· Experience delivering parenting programmes (e.g., Triple P, Solihull)
· Knowledge of SEND and inclusive education practices
