Family Support Worker job summary

Manor Primary School is looking to recruit a Family support worker to work within our school and community. Manor Primary School is a three form entry primary school. It is set in the Ettingshall community and is part of the Manor MAT family, consisting of nine primary schools across the Black Country and South Staffordshire.

37 hours a week, term time plus 2 weeks. Plus 2 weeks will be negotiated with Head Teacher during non term time

The core purpose of a Family Support Worker at a Manor MAT School is to take lead responsibility for improving the wellbeing of pupils and their families or carers in a school or educational establishment setting to promote independence and wellbeing. The Family support worker role will be crucial to the support of our children, staff and families. Through positive, supportive relationships, we endeavour to continue to ‘create futures together’
