What the school offers its staff
Fazakerley Children’s Centre Nursery is a 60 place Early Years setting located within the shared site of Barlows Primary School and Fazakerley Children’s Centre, in the heart of Fazakerley.
The Early years setting caters for babies to children of 4 years old, offering daily child care and wrap around between the hours of 8am-6pm for 51 weeks of the year.
The Early Years setting, is led and managed by Barlows Primary School Leadership Team and Governing Body; registered as its own Early Years setting.
The setting also benefits from the opportunity to work in partnership with the onsite Children’s Centre and primary school.

We are now seeking a talented individual to join our dedicated team in the pivotal role of Nursery Manager. This vacancy arises due to the departure of our much-loved Nursery Manager, who is embarking on a new and exciting position within the city council.
The new Nursery Manager will have the unique opportunity to build upon the excellent work and relationships already developed by our outgoing Nursery Manager and implement further innovative practices that enrich the educational experiences of our children in our next stage of development.
We are looking for an exceptional candidate who possesses a strong understanding of early years education, outstanding leadership qualities, and a genuine passion for nurturing the development of young minds. The ideal candidate will have a firm grasp of Early Years Framework along with relevant qualifications and experience in a nursery setting, and will be instrumental in creating a warm, inclusive, and stimulating environment for our children. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our hardworking and dedicated team.
Candidates should be committed to continuous improvement, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and be able to forge strong relationships with parents and the community.
