Federation SENCO job summary

Stoke Hill Federation is recruiting for an experienced and inspirational SENCO to implement targeted support and challenge for individuals and groups of pupils to start September 2021.

We are looking for exceptional candidates with an in-depth knowledge of the SEN code of practice within primary education and curriculum knowledge. A National SENCO qualification is desirable but not essential, experience of completing EHCP paperwork and 1:1 assessment is required. The candidate should also have experience of identifying, evaluating, and providing effective strategies for pupils with SEN.

You will lead a team of approximately 30 Teaching Assistants across both schools and work in collaboration with the senior leadership team and teachers and be committed to ensuring that all children with additional need achieve the highest possible outcomes.

You will need strong organisation and leadership skills, be highly motivated and contribute to wider school life, building positive relationships with all members of our school community.
