At Tor Bridge High we are determined to help children succeed irrespective of background. We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Sports Coach to work within our PE team ensuring high quality physical education and excellent extra-curricular sporting activities are delivered for our students. The successful candidate can also be part of our cover team, working as a Cover Supervisor for 16.5 hours per week covering a range of subjects for absent teachers, making this a full-time position.
If you:
- are experienced, confident, self-motivated and flexible in leading sports coaching without supervision;
- have experience of running or organising sporting team activities;
- are passionate about inspiring young people;
- are committed to promoting Physical Education;
- have a recognised NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) sports coaching qualification;
- have minimum of GCSE English and Maths grades 9 - 4 (or equivalent);
- are first aid trained or have a willingness to undertake training;
- have experience of working with young people in a school environment;
