We are looking to recruit a Finance Administrator to join our hardworking and collaborative team, contributing to the smooth running of financial operations in the school. If you are an experienced and/or capable Administrator with an eye for financial detail and are looking to flourish at work and be professionally fulfilled, we would love to hear from you.
Your opportunity
Working closely with the Central Trust team at GLF, the Finance Administrator will play a key role in providing a high-quality and timely support service to teaching and associate colleagues and parents/carers. They will be the main point of contact between the school and GLF to ensure effective and efficient administration for finance processes at school and trust level. This will include managing the financial elements of trips, admissions, charity events and lettings. The Finance Administrator will also be responsible for school orders from placement to delivery.
The working hours for this role are 19 hours per week, term time only, although we welcome discussions around a flexible working pattern, depending on individual circumstances.
What we are looking for
- Someone with financial and/or strong administrative experience
- An excellent communicator with a genuine desire to provide the best service to staff, parents/carers and students.
- An organised individual who works in a methodical manner, with a high level of attention to detail .
- Commitment to the aims and ethos of the school.
- Experience in working in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating calmness when under pressure.
- A self-starter who can manage their own workload, prioritising effectively.

The Details
Start Date: As soon as possible
Salary: GLF Associate 2 .1 FTE £22,834 p.a.
Actual Pro Rata Salary: £10,367.64 p.a.
Hours: 19 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks). Working pattern to be discussed with candidates at interview.
