Finance Administrator job summary
We require a Finance/Clerical Assistant to provide administrative support. The position is to start January 2026.
We are a very successful and friendly three-form entry junior school located in Sutton Coldfield. We are a creative and dynamic school offering an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team. The successful candidate will work within the administration team and support the Bursar with general administrative and finance tasks.
Governors wish to appoint someone with the skills:
Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
Numerically strong and confident in using IT
Experience working in bookkeeping/financial environment
Good written and oral communication skills
Organisational skills
Understanding of the need for confidentiality
Patience and the ability to deal with a wide range of demands from a variety of people
Polite, pleasant and efficient telephone manner
Flexible attitude towards day to day tasks as required
Ability to work effectively as part of a team or with minimum supervision
