Finance and Administration Assistant job summary
Our School
Billing Brook School Academy Trust is a nurturing and inclusive all age Special Educational Needs and we are dedicated to supporting children and young people with a range of learning needs. We provide ourselves on creating a safe and supportive environment where all every pupil can thrive. We are looking for a detail-orientated and proactive Finance and Admin Assistant to join our friendly Admin Team to ensure the smooth-running of our school's financial and administrative operation.
The Role:
As Finance and Admin Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the day to day financial management and administrative functions of the school. You will work closely with the School's Finance & Operations Manager and the wider operations team to ensure efficiency, accuracy and compliance across all areas of finance and administration.
The duties and responsibilities are outlined in the job description, but we are looking for someone who is excellent at excel and spreadsheets, but is also warm and welcoming and embraces the values and the ethos of our school and will do what it takes to get the job done.

We are looking for a person who is able to work 37 hours per week for 40 weeks per year. We will consider part-time applications but we require full days and not less than 3 days per week.

Billing Brook is an all age special school for pupils aged 4 - 18 with a wide range of learning difficulties. This includes moderate or severe learning difficulties; speech, language and communication needs; some medical difficulties and an all age specialist autism provision.
Billing Brook also has a 6th form centre, based a mile away from the main site, where we run our employability café and small shop.
