What skills and experience we're looking for

Holy Trinity Church of England Primary School is looking for a self motivated, approachable manager with excellentorganisational skills to lead the administration of the school. The main duty of this role is the management and monitoring ofthe school's budgetary and financial systems. The successful candidate will also be responsible for personnel management andthe maintenance and development of the school's buildings and premises.

The successful candidate will:

• have considerable finance and administration experience, preferably in a school or education context;

• have knowledge of school's systems, knowledge of Arbor and Bromcom is advantageous;

• have excellent IT skills including Google Office, Mail, Docs;

• work efficiently to tight deadlines and have excellent literacy and numeracy skills;

• be an effective communicator who is able to lead, multi-task and work as part of team;

• be prepared to play a full and active part in the life of the school.

Qualifications -Essential

Relevant NVQ4 or degree qualification orequivalent experience.

Experience and Knowledge -Essential

Experience of maintaining effective andefficient levels of administration within abusy environment.

An understanding of budget managementand accounting techniques.

Experience of undertaking a range ofadministrative and technical duties.

A sound knowledge of a range of computerapplications, including financialmanagement systems.

Working knowledge of relevant legislation,policies and codes of practice, eg. DataProtection Act, Freedom of Information etc.

Desirable

Experience within an education setting.

Experience of budget monitoring andaccount reconciliation.

Experience of recruitment and retention.


Communication

Strong interpersonal and communicationskills to effectively manage areas ofresponsibility and to liaise with all keycontacts.

The ability to use a wide range ofcommunication channels to effectivelymanage the operations of the areas of responsibility, applying tact and diplomacyin communication.

The ability to maintain a professional andconfident manner.

To understand the need to adaptcommunication style to suit the audienceand situation.
