Finance and Health & Safety Manager job summary
The Headteacher and the Governing Body of Bedford High School seek to appoint a highly effective Manager of Finance and Health and Safety. We are looking for an experienced colleague to lead in this very important area of the school. The successful candidate will be highly motivated with extensive knowledge of school finance and an understanding of health and safety legislation at a senior level. We seek to appoint a talented and highly motivated colleague with energy and drive. This post would suit an experienced colleague who has worked within an educational/school setting.

We gained a judgement of ‘Good’ in our last inspection and the school maintains strong examination performance at KS4. The person appointed will have the ability to inspire and lead staff. Working closely with all members of the senior leadership team we want you to promote the highest standards, ensuring the most effective use of resources in support of the school’s learning objectives. You will be adaptable, resilient and have a desire to make a lasting difference to the lives of our students. We are looking for a colleague who is personable, friendly and exceptionally proactive. You will be positive and have an inclusive attitude, hardworking, committed and a dedicated team player.
