Location: Central Finance Team (Trust wide)
Contract: Fixed term apprenticeship (39 months programme)
Hours: Full-time (with day release for study, where applicable)

About this role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Finance Apprentice to join our Trust Finance Team. This is an excellent opportunity to begin a career in finance within a dynamic multi-academy trust environment, gaining valuable hands-on experience while working towards a recognised finance qualification.

You will support the central finance function across the Trust, working closely with experienced finance professionals and contributing to the effective financial management of our schools.

About you

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Interested in building a career in finance
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Confident with numbers and basic IT systems (particularly Excel)
  • A strong communicator, able to work with a range of stakeholders
  • Reliable, professional, and willing to learn
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team

Relevant finance experience is required; full training and support will be provided.

  • On-the-job training within the Trust Finance Team
  • Support to complete a recognised finance apprenticeship qualification
