Finance Assistant/Administrator job summary

The role will involve working closely with an experienced School Business Manager, the Headteacher and office team, to support, help contribute to (and implement) strategic planning and development of the school.

We are looking for a capable, enthusiastic, energetic person with a can-do attitude to join our happy team. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate:

Experience in a School Office is very desirable.

Experience in a finance administration position in the public or private sector is essential.

Good communication skills

Excellent ICT skills with experience of using Microsoft Office packages.

Flexibility in adapting to the changing needs of the school

Ideally, we are looking for someone to work:

Monday – Friday 8.30 am – 13.00 pm

but please specify your ideal working pattern in your covering letter. Our approach is always to try and work with our staff to achieve the right work/life balance. This will be discussed during the interview.
