Are you interested in joining a diverse and multicultural local school which is part of Maiden Erlegh Trust? Maiden Erlegh School in Reading is currently seeking a Finance Assistant for a permanent position starting as soon as possible. The role is for 30 hours per week, term time only plus 5 INSET days. We are looking for a Self-motivated and hardworking individual to provide excellent finance support to the team.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Good attention to detail skills, who will work well under pressure
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • The ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • Reliability, tact, diplomacy, confidentiality, and sensitivity.
  • A pro-active approach, able to work independently but also as part of a team.
  • A sense of responsibility.
  • A flexible approach to working and commitment to ongoing service and personal development (through self-evaluation and learning from others)
