Finance Assistant job summary

We are looking for a Finance Assistant, to provide effective financial administration support within the school overseeing day-to-day financial operations including purchasing, invoicing, income collection, bank reconciliation and record maintenance.

Duties will include:

  • Ordering, processing and payment of all goods and services
  • Preparation of invoices
  • Deal with basic payment and accounting queries
  • Maintain manual and computerised records/management information systems
  • Complete monthly finance routine checklist

Actual Salary: £12,857 - £13,483

Hours: 19.5 hours per week, Term Time plus 3 weeks and 5 inset days (working 42 weeks) - Mon - Thurs 10am - 2pm and Fri 10am - 1.30pm

We have a wide range of specialist facilities including a hydrotherapy centre, sensory rooms and plenty of outdoor space. Our students love the fact that the vegetables they grow in our garden are then cooked and used for meals in our school kitchen.
