St Ralph Sherwin Catholic Multi Academy Trust are seeking to appoint an experienced Finance Director to join our friendly, hardworking team.

The Role

You will be part of the Executive Team in supporting the CEO and the Board of Directors of St Ralph Sherwin Catholic Multi Academy Trust (hereafter referred to as the ‘Trust’) in the development and effective delivery of financial processes and systems across the Trust.

You will be responsible for the Strategic Management of Finance across the Trust, to ensure that the Trust and the individual academies within the Trust, operate good financial governance and are compliant with the requirements of the Academy Trust Handbook, the Trust’s own financial regulations, policy and procedures and/or other statutory and regulatory requirements.

The Individual

You will hold a professional qualification in finance or accounting and be a current member of a relevant professional body (e.g. CIMA, ACCA). You will have proven experience of managing large and complex budgets, a solid understanding of regulatory frameworks, and experience of developing and operating financial systems and procedures, including audit compliance controls.

You will need to be highly organised, with the ability to multi-task, maintain strong attention to detail and have strong ICT skills.

Whilst being a Catholic is not a requirement for this role, you must be willing to support the Catholic life and ethos in our academies.
