Pay range: NJC/LGPS Scale 4/5, Range Point 7 to 11, FTE £20,444 to £22,129 (April 2021 NJC) (depending on experience) 

Hours/Week: 32.5 Hr/Wk, 44.9 Wk/Yr (Term time + 2 week) (8:30 am - 3:30 pm) with a unpaid 30 minute break 

Days: Monday to Friday 

Contract type: Permanent 

Start: Immediate when all Safer Recruitment checks are completed.

This is a highly valued and responsible position under the professional direction of the Business Manager. 

The purpose of the role is to provide HR, administrative and financial support to the Business Manager. We are looking to recruit an experienced, highly motivated Finance, HR and Administrative Assistant to join the Stapleford Abbotts team to ensure we can provide this environment. 

We are looking for 

An exemplary Finance, HR and Administrative Support Assistant, Inspired with passion and ambition, an energetic, creative and committed professional, 

An optimist with a can-do approach, 

To support the Business Manager in maintaining a balanced budget. 

To process Purchase Orders and supplier invoices for prompt payment. 

Check and balance supplier statements to ensure no invoices are left outstanding. 

To support the Business Manager in providing information requested by Trust (TKAT) and the LGB.. 

To support the Business Manager with year-end processes.

To support in the recruitment of new staff and HR process. . 

To support the maintenance of the schools Management Information System (MIS).

To provide administrative support in the school office. 

A flexible approach to their work and ability to work independently, 

Good record keeping skills, a good standard of written English, a good understanding of MS Office applications and or Google applications.

We are a small one form entry Primary Academy set on the borders of rural Essex served the community of Stapleford Abbotts since 1887. We also have a preschool on our site, so our children join us at three years old.
