What skills and experience we're looking for

We require a Finance Manager for 37 hours per week, term time plus professional days and 2 additional weeks, to manage the financial support of this single Academy. You will need good inter-personal skills to work alongside Office Staff, Senior Management and Governors and a background in finance with knowledge of the following: · Payroll – reconciliation and BACs pay runs

  • Reconciliation of debtors and creditors and balance sheets
  • Preparation of Consolidated Management Accounts
  • Liaison with Pension providers and associated reports
  • VAT returns
  • Prepayments and Accruals
  • Experience of using SAGE with training offered in the use of SAGE 200 for Education

Salary Scale: SO1 Point 23 £32,076 pro rata per annum with attractive holiday package.
