What skills and experience we're looking for
Reporting to the CEO (Executive Headteacher), and with the support of the COO, the Finance Manager and CFO will be responsible for the proper financial conduct of the Trust and assisting the CEO and Trustees with developing the financial strategy for the Trust.
We are looking for a proactive accounting professional who is technically competent in all aspects of managing school finances in line with ESFA compliance requirements. It is essential that you have operational experience of managing a Finance team within a school and have a good understanding of the requirements of the Academies Planning Calendar and Academy Trust Handbook
The Finance Manager and CFO is a key part of managing the schools’ budgets and finances and will be responsible for supporting and advising the Executive Headteacher, Trustees and Senior Leadership team with high level finance strategy and operations.
