East Garforth Primary Academy are looking to appoint a Finance Officer to join our academy in September 2025 on full time, permanent basis.

Your new role

As the Finance Officer, you will support the Head of Academy through the provision of financial support and information. You will ensure the academy’s financial management is sound and procedures are adhered to with relevant reports submitted to the central Delta finance department in accordance with deadlines.

Salary: Grade F Points 14 to 19 (£28,624 to £31,067 Full Time Equivalent) subject to pro rata. The minimum actual pro rata salary per annum for this job starts at £25,363.71.

East Garforth Primary Academy is located in the outer east side of Leeds in the community of Garforth. The academy is a slightly larger than average sized academy, catering for pupils from the Early Years Foundation Stage, through Key Stage 1 into Key Stage 2. There are currently 257 pupils on roll, including 25 part time Nursery pupils. At East Garforth Academy, we strongly believe in giving individual attention to the needs of the children in our care.
