Finance Officer job summary
Icknield High School is a highly successful multi-cultural 11-16 Academy, situated in pleasant grounds on the northern outskirts of town. We are justifiably proud of our excellent results and believe that we offer both students and staff a caring environment in which they can succeed.
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, inspirational and passionate individual to the post of Finance Officer who will facilitate financial duties within the school. This role is likely to suit an individual with previous professional finance experience or equivalent.
The post holder will report to the Finance Manager and work closely with the school community, it is imperative that the candidate be highly capable, a good team player and an effective communicator with a strong attention to detail.
The post holder will -
· Be responsible for providing finance and administration support including processing of invoices, reconciling accounts and some payroll.
· Be the first point of contact for any finance queries.
· Have excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment.
· Have excellent IT skills including experience working with SIMS, Access and excel.
