Finance Officer job summary
Lealands High School is looking to appoint a Finance Officer. This role will play an important and key function in keeping the finances of the school running efficiently and seamlessly. As such, we seek a conscientious team player who has a good general education, works accurately and learns quickly.
Could you be the person who will help keep the Finance Department working effectively and support the financial management of the school? We need someone who:
Has GCSE or equivalent in English and maths grades A* - C/ 9-5.
Has experience of general administrative work including using Microsoft software, FMS and ideally some experience in a similar role.
Is an accurate worker with attention to detail.
Is able to work in a busy environment with conflicting demands and deadlines, sometimes working under pressure.
Is trustworthy, reliable and able to maintain strict confidentiality.
Is willing to learn new skills and undertake training.

Lealands High School is a comprehensive Foundation school located on the northern edge of Luton, in Sundon Park. We provide high quality education for students aged from 11 to 16 years old.

Our school serves a catchment area, but also takes students from across Luton and surrounding Bedfordshire villages and towns. We are a diverse school which is proud to welcome students and staff from many cultural and religious backgrounds.
