VACANCY FOR FINANCE OFFICER
This vacancy will be based at Swavesey Village College
This role will require you to work alongside multiple training providers, such as The Cambridge Learning Partnership, Science Learning East & The Cambridge and Peterborough Teaching School Hub Network.
Salary: Meridian Trust Support Staff. Grade 7 – Point 12, £26,421.00
Hours of work: Flexible options for the right candidate, could include
43 weeks per year, 37 hours per week
52 weeks per year, 30 hours per week
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our expanding team as a Finance Officer. This role will assist the Trust Accountant in supporting, processing, and preparing accounting data for the training organisations within the Trust. This is a dynamic role with responsibility for a variety of tasks from monthly supplier payments and payroll administration to reconciliation of the balance sheet and plenty more between.

The ideal candidate
- Experience working in an administrative or accounting environment
- Have a working knowledge of accounts payable/receivable in conjunction with PSF or equivalent accounting software
- Possess the ability to manage own workload and meet deadlines effectively whilst maintaining high attention to detail.
- A presence and strength of character that promotes calm in a busy and demanding environment
