Finance Officer job summary

We are seeking to appoint a Finance Officer within Ridgeway Education Trust. You will lead on the preparation of management accounts and support the preparation of budgets / medium term forecasts for the Trust and its schools.

You will Support the Deputy Chief Financial Officer, Chief Financial Officer, CEO, Chief Operation Officer and other members of the Senior Leadership Teamand Heads of Support Services using your professional knowledge and skills within a range of responsibilities.

You will provide variance analysis to agreed standard / format to support the creation of financial reports, establish and manage relationships with senior leaders, support schools in budgetary control. You will also work closely with the Finance Officer to to prepare month end and year end working papers. You will be needed to maintain the accuracy of the school capital asset register.
