Finance Officer job summary
We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Finance Officer to join our team and support our financial operations.. You will be required to work across two primary schools in the Trust. Three days will be spent at St Bartholomew's Primary Academy and two days at Marden Vale CE Academy. We are committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the financial procedures of both schools.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Process invoices, payments, and payroll efficiently.
- Assist with HR-related tasks and ensure adherence to health and safety legislation and procedures.
- Provide administrative support and handle general office duties as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a finance role, preferably within a busy school environment.
- Strong knowledge of finance procedures and best practices.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in word processing and IT skills.
- Familiarity with HR and health and safety legislation and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
