Finance Officer job summary

Following internal promotion, the Sir John Brunner Foundation is looking to appoint a Finance Officer to work within the central finance team.

Reporting to the Finance Manager and responsible for delivering effective and efficient financial support across the Foundation. The Finance Officer works as part of a collaborative team and assists in the processing of financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the delivery of high-quality finance services.

You will be experienced in managing all aspects of financial transactions processing, financial reconciliation, and an effective administrator to support the wider finance team.

This is an exciting time to be joining our Multi Academy Trust, of three High Schools and a Sixth Form College, which collectively educates over 4300 children, and employs over 450 professionals, as we begin to centralise and raise the profile of our professional services.

Each of our good and outstanding academies operates at the heart of their local communities. The Foundation’s central offices are based at Sir John Deane’s Sixth Form College campus set in beautiful grounds.

Up to full time hours are available, consideration will be given to alternative working patterns for the right candidate.
