Finance & Payroll Assistant job summary
Our Lady of the Magnificat MAC are looking to recruit a Finance & Payroll Assistant. This role will be based at St Benedict's Catholic High School, Alcester.
This is a permanent, part time position, working 24 hours per week on a term time only basis plus 10 days (40 weeks per year).
The successful candidate will:
- Load supplier invoices on the finance portal and attachments
- Monitor finance email as part of the finance team
- Refer queries to finance officers
- Answer telephone queries
- Enter purchase orders onto the system
- Analysis by spreadsheet to ensure costs are accurate and Value for money obtained
- Enter new starters on itrent
- Update FTEs for monthly and annual reporting
- Maintain lists of starters and leavers to check against payroll
- Check database of contracts variations
- Support finance team with salary reconciliations
- Maintain overtime schedule
- Generate reports from itrent system
