We have been awarded NAS advanced accreditation and are a MOVE centre of excellence. Willow Dene is part of a unique and exciting thirteen school federation, enabling us to forge meaningful mainstream links that benefit both children and staff. Willow Dene became a school for children aged 2 –18. We are excited to share with you that we opened our 6th form provision in September 2023.
Willow Dene is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils attending the school. As the duties of these posts involve regular contact with children, any offer to the successful candidates will be conditional upon an Enhanced Disclosure being obtained via the Disclosure and Barring Service.
We have recently been judged by Ofsted as "Outstanding". The report recognised that ‘all staff are determined to give every child who comes through the school’s doors the best possible start in life’ and ‘leaders have successfully created a culture where staff feel valued and supported’.
We are looking for a dynamic, passionate and enthusiastic fitness instructor, who is willing to learn and wants to support children to have fun with physical activity and maintain a healthy lifestyle. We are looking for candidates who are able to see the possibilities for our exceptional learners and support them to have safe, enjoyable and enriching physical experiences.
You will be joining a friendly, enthusiastic and well qualified staff team and we hope you will find this post challenging, stimulating and rewarding. In-service training, an induction programme and mentoring will be provided by the school.
