What skills and experience we're looking for

The successful candidate will:

  • Be an enthusiastic practitioner, keen to take on a mixed Year 2/3 class (approximately 25 pupils).
  • Have experience of planning for all subjects within the two key stages. •Have a passion for the environment.
  • Be up-to-date with approaches to teaching and keen to take on new challenges in the profession.

  • Have familiarity and ideally, experience of delivering synthetics phonics programmes (we use Little Wandle).
  • Maintain our warm and welcoming environment to enable all children to reach their full potential. Please indicate your strengths and interests as a candidate, especially on your letter of application.

What the school offers its staff

The governors of Brough Community Primary School are looking to appoint a full-time teacher to join our lovely and thriving village school, on a permanent contract from September 2024 or as early as contractual obligations will allow. The post is in our fabulous Twiglets Class, comprising Years 2 and 3 pupils. The vacancy is suitable for all teaching applicants, from Early Career Teachers to experienced practitioners.
