Fixed Term One to One Teaching Assistant job summary
FIXED TERM ONE TO ONE TEACHING ASSISTANT
31.25 hours per week term time only
We are looking to recruit a one to one Teaching Assistant on a fixed term basis to join our aspirational school specifically working with a named child. You should be sensitive to the child’s needs, enthusiastic and passionate about helping and supporting children’s learning and be able to support in a classroom alongside a teacher.
The role will involve some medical care specifically to support the medical, learning and well-being needs of a child with intimate care and support with feeding and following the care plan.
The successful applicant will:
Have consistently high expectations of themselves and colleagues.
Have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
Be flexible, adaptable, enjoy working with children and be passionate about children's learning and its improvement
Work closely with class teachers and other support staff
Be educated to at least Grade C or above in GCSE English and Maths
