Fixed Term Teaching Partner job summary
The Governors at Holy Apostles’ C of E Primary School are seeking to appoint a highly skilled, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Partner. You will have high expectations, be well motivated and can show commitment and enthusiasm to the role. You should be flexible in your approach to work and be able to work as part of a friendly, dedicated and supportive team.
The role will be to work alongside our team of TPs to support the learning needs of our fabulous pupils across the school, working under the guidance of the school’s SENDCo.
The successful candidate will work alongside experienced staff and would benefit from having:
• Knowledge of the primary curriculum
• Be qualified to NVQ 2 or equivalent, or can demonstrate high quality classroom experience
• Skills necessary to work collaboratively as part of the team of staff.
• An understanding of how to support pupils social and emotional needs.
• An ability to adapt tasks and motivate pupils.
In addition to this role, there is the availability of up to 5 hours for leading play at lunch time with a Midday Supervisor role, this would be at the grade of 2.
