The Food, Care and Vocational department at NWHS offers students a diverse range of experiences and learning. We offer food and nutrition at key stage 3 and 4; child development at key stage 4; health and social care at key stage 4; and ASDAN at key stage 4.
The role of the technician is vital in supporting the planning and preparation of these lessons. The technician will support staff with the preparation of materials and equipment to use in lessons; monitor stock levels and place orders; set up for, and support, practical sessions.
Food Hygiene Level 2 training will be arranged.
The hours will include Friday working to cover when the other technician is off. Hours for the other day(s) will be discussed at interview.

Nunnery Wood High School is an academy in Worcester, Worcestershire, England. It is a co-educational school and a Science College with about 1500 students on roll aged from 11 to 16. In 1983 following a restructuring of schools in Worcestershire the Nunnery Wood Secondary School was renamed Nunnery Wood High School.
The school campus is located on the edge of Worcester, surrounded by some 15 acres (61,000 m2) of gardens and playing fields which it shares with the adjacent Sixth Form College.
