While your main focus will be within Food & Nutrition, you will also have the opportunity to support the wider faculty where required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide an efficient, safe and well-organised technical service to the Food & Nutrition department
  • Support teaching staff and students during practical lessons
  • Prepare and maintain equipment, ingredients and learning spaces
  • Ensure high standards of health and safety, including risk assessments and equipment checks
  • Contribute positively to the wider ethos and day-to-day life of the school

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience as a Food Technician (or a willingness to learn and develop in the role)
  • Good subject knowledge alongside strong organisational and communication skills
  • A positive, proactive approach and the ability to work as part of a team
  • A commitment to safeguarding and enhancing the learning experience of all students

Full training will be provided for the right candidate.

We offer:

  • A comprehensive CPD programme and ongoing professional development
  • A strong focus on staff wellbeing, including a 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme
  • Cycle to work scheme, free flu vaccinations and eye care vouchers
  • Discounted meals from our excellent on-site kitchen
  • Access to our on-site nursery (Little Sunlights) with staff discount
  • Free on-site parking
  • Opportunities to get involved in wider school life, including DofE, trips, clubs and student leadership
